No. 5: Jane Iredale Active Light, $25

TotalBeauty.com average member rating: 6.5*

What you thought: "Each time I used it the Active Light shifted, settled in fine lines and did nothing but draw attention to this area -- not in a good way. I thought I may have been using it incorrectly so I ... had [a Jane Iredale representative] apply it ... She stated to remember 'less is more,' and when she finished it did look wonderful. However, once again within hours after [her] application ... it not only settled into fine lines and called attention to this area but seemed to shift and collect in large almost lumps/lines." -- Isobelle, TotalBeauty.com member

My absolute favorite is Alison Raffaele concealer I would buy at Sephora. But they discontinued it because no one bought it. Everyone wanted the designer brands even though they were all heavy and thick. Alison Raffaele is wonderful and light while covering beautifully, and it lasted a really long time, both on my face and in the container. It would last me for months. Now,I use Origins Quick,Hide! concealer, which is fine,my second favorite.

I haven't had good luck with any cream concealers! I'm really happy with the mineral powder concealers I got from L.A. Minerals though :)
