Why it's great: "I love this perfume! I will never buy anything different again (well, OK, maybe because I need change depending on my mood). I have used this now for about two years. I have become a divorced mother of two and this perfume makes [me] feel ravishing and sexual. My husband left me [after] 13 years and I really didn't feel wanted at all for a long time. When I started wearing this and guys were coming up to me saying how good I smelled ... I knew I had a good product! Lady Gaga's "FAME", Rihanna "Nude", and Marc Jacob's "Daisy" are missing. Donna Karen's "Cashmere Mist" does have a pleasant scent.

I like some of these, but many great scents are missing--Nina Ricci's "L'Air du Temps," "Chanel," Paul Sebastian's "Design," Chanel's "Cristalle," and Estee Lauder's "White Linen" and "Pleasures."

Where I don't like most of the ones mentioned, I love love love a few that are. And I like that they are on there and other women agree. They aren't soft and daytime like. The others are similar to me. But a good mix.

I don't know ladies. I adore J'Adore, but honestly, can't afford it. My next best pick is Eternal Magic by Avon. I sell Avon, but I'm not biased, but this is not old fashioned or overpowering or cloying. Stays with you all day too. You need to know an Avon rep to let you know which type you're looking for as they vary widely.

The Burberry fragrances are ok, the rest of these are pretty average though. No one wants to smell average.

The reviews ACCURATE! haaa lol finally a blog that has accurate information I've come in contact and even purchased a few of these perfumes. Michael Kors I actually would sneak and try my moms perfume lol loved the smell. Wooo. Armani Diamons intense should be on there. Smells phenominal. Heavenly is just that. But Japenese Cherry Blossom brings back bad memories I loved that scent. :-(

Balenciaga Florabotanica is my new scent. I love florals but not cloying ones that smell too sweet. This is the perfect blend of unique notes and amber, which gives it a warm, musky essence. It stays on throughout the day. Pricy but worth it. Nordstrom is rolling it out this month. Already on sale at Neiman and Bergdorf's.

Pretty good look at the top rated perfumes, however, I only found one of the 21 appealing (cashmere mist) . I love total beauty's stories / product reviews because they open my eyes to want to try new things and know what I am buying before I waste my money. There are other beauty product review sites out there , but Total Beauty is my reference each and every time.

BORING..Come on. EVERYONE wears Light Blue. Who wants to smell like everyone else? Well, obviously some women do, but I love to find fragrances that are a little off the beaten path. I like to find two fragrances that are similar, then wear the body lotion of one combined with the perfume of the other..and vice versa..and I have two brand new fragrances! But, to each her own.

I disagree with some of these being the "best" such as JLo's perfume, which I do not like at all. My favs from the bunch however are Dolce Gabbana Light Blue and Escada Moon Sparkle, both smell great.

This goes for JLo's perfume: I dont uderstand the concept of this scent being soapy and clean at all. I have this perfume, it was a gift from someone important to me who didn't smell it and just thought it "looked" like it would smell good. well this perfume stinks. I wasn't fond of it at first but still wore it thinking it would grow on me. It did not. People would ask"who smells like a perm?" when i sprayed it in a room. very strong, chemically, and very unappealing.

Some of these sound like ones I might like, but unfortunately most of the reviews talk more about how the scents made the reviewers feel than about what they smelled like. Since fragrance preferences are very subjective, it would have been nice to know more about the top notes/undertones/scent characteristics of each of these fragrances.

I have been using Light Blue for 6 years and I'm still in love with it; people still ask me what I'm wearing when I walk by and people that don't know me at all still take the time to tell me how wonderful I smell. I don't think I will ever get sick of this fragrance just because of how it works for any situation, it isn't overpowering and it lasts for most of the day.

Ralph Lauren has amazing fragrance's! I need to get some. I always find myself going back to Hypnotic Poison when I'm at Ulta or Sephora. Vera Wang Princess smells like any other perfume in my opinion.

Jennifer Lopez Glow and Ralph by Ralph Lauren should definitely be abolished from this list. Burberry Brit is fabulous! No Shalimar? I agree with Vera Wang. What about Pink Sugar? Clinique Happy should be kicked off too; I'm SO sick of that scent everyone and their mom wears it! This article gets a 'meh' from me.
