Forget the charcoal smoky eye; we're in love with this pop of purple done in the same smoky look. To do this at home, start by applying a purple cream shadow from lash lines to creases. (Don't go above your creases to keep the look more wearable.) Line your lower lash line in the same shade. Next, line eyes in dark gray pencil liner and finish the eye by blending a shimmery deep purple shadow (we like MAC Eye Shadow in Nocturnelle, $14) on top of the cream shadow. Balance the look by sweeping a neutral-colored blush on your cheek bones and applying a semi-matte nude (instead of super pale, so you don't look ghostly) lip color. --Beth, Editor in ChiefSEE NEXT PAGE: Marchesa, Best Makeup
