This past winter I was experiencing dry peeling nail. I had no idea why, until I realized I washed my hands with soap very often and that was drying them out along with all the manicures I was getting. Now I make sure to apply oil on them and moisturize my hands immediately after washing them.

I started doing my own manicures and my nails are growing and look a lot healthier. I use Essie All in One Base for help. I've also used Essie Protein Base to protect my nails from yellowing.

EWWW some of those pictures are really gross! My nails get really dry and sometimes split, but they don't look anything like the ones in the picture! Wearing gloves when I wash the dishes would probably help a lot. And using more hand cream (I use hand sanitizer all the time at work, but don't use hand cream enough).
