Looking forward to trying the Mark eye shadows, but elf? I have their concealer, and it does absolutely nothing. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to spend money on their facial whips and other cheap products either, even if they are only a dollar. Not really sure if this article was helpful. I'm kinda thinking they only listed these just because they're under $5, not because they actually work. Not including Sephora and Mark, I've always had good experiences with them. Very excited to see Sephora actually selling something for a college students budget..

I don't think it's fair to include products that have under 30-40 reviews into such articles. Having one good review shouldn't give something a spot in "the best" list... Otherwise a good article with viable inexpensive products.

I don't like Salley Hansen or NYC but anything by MARK is nothing short of amazing, MARK is so cheap and so good. It may not compare to my Too Faced Products but if you're on a budget, get it.

The mark i-mark custom shadows are decently pigmented, and I like that you can buy them individually. The ELF tone correcting concealer was disappointing though.

ELF makes fantastic, inexpensive products. I have eye shadows, blushes, bronzer, brushes from that company and I think they are all good. Wet N Wild eye pencils are classic & so is the NYC color wheel. Great article!
