This tutorial is designed to show you step-by-step how to line your upper lash line and wing out the liner subtly, which is typically called a cat-eye. The cat-eye great to wear with a retro, matte red lip or really bold, deep lip colors. Bold lips are always amazing when paired with such a neutral, natural eye. Make sure you know basic eyeshadow application tips before you start!
Products Used: Liquid black liner, wash of a neutral, low-shimmer color, semi-matte darker brown for the crease, and highlight color of your choice.
Brushes Used: MAC 239, MAC 219, MAC 266.
This is a good tutorial for beginners but other than that I wasn't entirely impressed. Why are people even bothering with her eyebrows? This tutorial is for eye liner, not eye brows.

I find older woman should not use shimmery eyeshadows...Hello?! I would also recommend a good eyeshadow base to keep everything in its place, I use liquid eyeliner and pencils, depending on my mood and find that liquid can be trickier to work with than pencil as mistake are harder to "fix" without starting over.

That was not that informative, she gets paid for that? Also going with darker colors so that we could see better would have been a great idea! Watch QVC when they have a makeup show on...or any other and they give you great tips and ideas.

This is a good tutorial for basic usage of liquid liner - not a simple task. As for cream or powder eyeshadow I think the weather where you live has something to do woth your choice that is why I use powder with the heat here.

Its great for beginners learning how to use liner. I understand the eyebrows aren't all that great but the name calling is uncalled for. Respect

uncalled for, princessgroban. This is an eyeliner tutorial - what do her brows have to do with anything?

This is good if you're trying to achieve that "chola look" (check out her brows!)

Which is better-liquid eye liners or the pencil ones? Also, how do I choose between cream eye-shadows and the powder ones?

I want to know what happened to the Crayon Style "soft Kohl black inner eyeliner" of yesteryear? You can see in this article that the inner eyelid is/has been blackened, with what???For sure its not liquid eyeliner only good for the outer lid???? Every pencil today is so d n skinny you could poke your eyeball out trying to line this part, cost is important now a days as well, they are not half as useable with these thin narrow pencil type..they do not apply with one sweep to lower or upper..not like the Kohl crayon style. I used to go to flea markets and swap meets and buy them for 50 cents and later for one dollar each..bdoll@cutey.com
