Faux Bob

Works on: Medium-length hair

What you'll need:
•1" curling iron (try Conair Satin Finish 1" Ceramic Curling Iron, $24.99)
•Bobby pins
•Hairspray (try Dove Flexible Hold Hairspray, $4.29 or Aveda Witch Hazel Hair Spray, $10)
•Jeweled clips if desired (Scunci Rhinestone Bobby Pins, $9.99)

How to:
•Step 1: Create curls throughout hair by taking 1" sections and wrapping them around the curling iron (holding the iron vertically), holding for a few seconds, then releasing. Then pin curls all over head by taking each curl, twisting and securing it with a bobby pin to let them set. (See photo.)
•Step 2: After curls have fully cooled, unpin them and gently finger comb your hair to slightly loosen curls.
•Step 3: Pick up small sections of hair and pin them at mid-hair length underneath your top layer of hair. Repeat all over head until hair is at desired length and even all the way around. (See photo.)
•Step 4: Secure barrette(s) to one side of the front of your head and spray all over with hairspray to set.

Most of the styles I didn't like except the princess curls, but it would have been better if there were more suggestions or styles with accessories .

I had my hair in the "romantic half up" style when I got married almost 20 years ago and I loved it! I also like the whimsical curls and the princess curls. The sky high is a bit much for me!
