The Worst No. 10: Clinique Acne Solutions Post Blemish Formula, $14

TotalBeauty.com average reader rating: 6.8*
Why: One reader was severely disappointed, saying "I had high hopes for this product, unfortunately it only slightly faded my scars. It was such a rip-off, considering how the tube cost me $20 and lasted 10 days before it ran out." Not only that, but this product caused one reader to "break out again and didn't even lighten the prior spots." Overall, readers saw "0 percent improvement" after using the product on their red, post-acne marks.

People with acne and acne prone skin are so unique, and because of that different products are going to produce different results. As consumers, we need to do research on ingredients and through trial and error, discover which acne ingredients work for us as individuals. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice having suggestions, but just because it didn’t work for someone else doesn’t mean it wont work for you.

Murad and proactiv really didn't work for me. I have to try out the good stuff, really pricey though.

I disagree with the bareminerals treatment, it works for me. And all the stuff they recommend is pretty expensive.
