I appreciate the variety of type of products. I will definitely try some of these as my skin is so very oily.

My oily skin has always been a problem for putting anything on. Always gets oily looking fast or so bad that I have to wash my face off. Will be trying these products to see which ones work for me the best, thanks for the good reviews of products.

My skin gets oily in certain spots but i use Avon's Matte Chance and it really helps to eliminate the excess oil! you should try it!

Of these products I have tried the Revlon Colorstay foundation (definitely keeps my extremely oily skin matte for most of the day which is amazing, but does break me out), the Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream (controlled my oil just a tiny bit, not much though), Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion (ok, but MAC paint pot in painterly works a lot better controlling my eyelid oiliness), and the Skindinavia No More Shine makeup finishing spray (which is the same as the Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control spray, which did not do much for me.)

Well, i've tried the day cream for combination/oily skin from the body shop! It work well for first 2-3hours then i still have to use the blotting tissue!

i will surely try out the colorstay foundation...but for now im happy with my new makeup routine...i just bought an essence spray that i use before n after my makeup...amazingly, it does help a lot and really hold my makeup whether i wear cream or liquid foundation, my skin does not get oily like before....with the humid and hot climate throughout the year in Malaysia, my skin usually get really oily,.. but not anymore with spending only $5USD on the GIFFARINE AQUARA Essence Spray....Loreal Paris HydraFresh toner for oily/combination skin also works well, it hydrates my skin and my skin have no longer easily get oily...

i swear by too faced shadow insurance! i think it works better than urban decay, specially if you have really oily eyelid. i heard so many good things about the palladio powder, i should try it out since it's recommended here

I've controlled my oil by doing bi weekly peels. Monday is salisylic and Thursday is glycolic. I've turned my bad skin around and it's now glowing and oil is controlled so I'm not an oil slick by noon. Under foundations (which I alternative every few days) I use a few different primers; one to fill pore (Two Face Primed and Poreless) and Murad matte primer. I end up a little oily around 2pm and blotting takes care of that. I've been lucky so far!

Looks like lots of stuff I want to try. I really want to try the first foundation but the size kind of put me off. I usually spend $30 on Bare Esscentuals powder so the price doesn't seem too bad but it looks so small :( may try it anyway. I hate the fact that I spend all this money on make up and applying it and an hour later I look a hot oily mess. Blotting papers are ok but tissue does the same trick and takes off less of your makeup. Plus you'll come out cheaper buying a box of tissue rather than 20 blotting papers!!

I love the Boscia moisturizer I got it as one of my free samples from Sephora and its wonderful! Also the smashbox primer is good also its scary cuz at first it feels greasy but it doesnt absorb.

I would have to agree on Smashbox Photo Finish Primer! I simply love this primer. It's silky smooth on my skin, while giving me such a pretty clear finishing layer. Using this under my make up creates a nice textile on my skin. This primer doesn't break me out, too! I have oily/dry skin. But when spring/summer hits, my oily skin is out of control. This nice primer controls the oils on my skin. Lastly, a little goes a long way :)

I agree, the Clean n Clear sheets are awesome. My new favorite is the mineral Ultra powder from Mattify Cosmetics, it works amazingly well. My skin is seriously the greasiest mess you’ll ever see and this helps me stay oil free until about 11am before oil starts poking through. It doesn’t make my skin feel all itchy either like Bare Minerals does. I’ve tried the MAC Blot and hated it. My skin looked cakey and dry after the third application, and worst of all it didn’t even soak up the oil for more than an hour so I had to use it too frequently. Boscia makes some great products for oily skin. I swear by their Purifying Cleansing Gel and just ordered their Black Mask and Black Pore Purifying strips yesterday. Can’t wait to try them out!

Not my favorite.. I buy this after reading this.. but I don't love it, I don't stay matte too long, but it's true it doesn't dry my skin. Clinique Stay-Matte works better for me, the coverage is lighter but I like it better.

L'occitane ultra matte face fluid is the best moisturizer i ever tried to control oily skin!!! It's really an amazing product to control a oily skin so you don't need to use this products anymore. The only negative thing:the bottle is really little for the price .(

Clean and Clear oil absorbing sheets are GREAT. They're my favorite blotting sheets. I'm loving MAC Blot powder too--I just bought some for the first time. Avon MagiX primer didn't do anything for me though.

Instead of using a bunch of powder all the time the blotting sheets really work! They take the oil off your face instead of just spreading it around with a cosmetic sponge. Plus the more powder you pack on your face the less your skin can breathe and then you get more zits and use *more* make up! Do not get caught in the vicious cycle!
