Eye Makeup: 16 Best Eyeliners under $10
You don't have to spend more to get quality eye makeup say our readers. These eyeliners are proof
One of the daily morning decisions we must make, along with deciding whether it's a dark roast or an espresso day, is figuring out what eye makeup to wear (hey, we're beauty editors after all). Are we in a fun, daring mood in which case a swipe of purple or aqua-colored liner would be our choice? Or do we want to go for a sexier style and opt for a foxy cat eye? Regardless of the look we choose, we need an arsenal of the right beauty tools, namely a few great eyeliners, to get the job done.
See the best eyeliners under $10 now.
Unfortunately though we too often have days when we realize 20 minutes after an important meeting or date that the fabulous liner we applied is running down our faces. Smudged and smeared (in a bad way) eyes are a beauty disaster that needs to be avoided at all costs -- but how much are you willing to spend for a great liner that doesn't budge? Some cost upwards of $58. If we had $58 we wouldn't give it to a pencil, no matter the pigmented brilliance.
So the million-dollar question is
can we get a great eyeliner without breaking the bank? Well, according to our honest and loyal Total Beauty reviewers, the answer is yes. To prove it, we've compiled their favorite eyeliners that cost less than $10 -- and ones that aren't just mediocre. These eye makeup items don't smudge or disappear, but they also don't last longer than you need them to. (Translation: They are easily removed with eye makeup remover.) Our reviewers say the results from these drugstore liners are comparable, if not better, than the leading department brands. So, what are you waiting for? It's time to say goodbye to smudged raccoon eyes and having to reapply at noon, and hello to these eyeliners that are colorful, cheap and long lasting.

glad to see my fave eyeliner - revlon colorstay - on here! and i also appreciate the other drugstore bargain recommendations. although i was surprised to see the maybelline twin brow & eye pencils on here - i remember using this way back in jr. high and they were a pain in the butt! so hard that we used to take a lighter to the lead just to soften it and make application easier...maybe they've changed their formula since then (that was a LONG time ago!)
