Aveda Sap Moss Conditioning Detangler, $12 TotalBeauty.com average member rating: 9*
Best for: African-American hair
Why it's great: "My hair is styled in a medium-sized afro. Although my hair is somewhat fine, it is also very dense, not to mention extremely curly. ... I absolutely love this product. I use [it] as an instant conditioner, styling balm and a deep conditioner. It smells great, but more importantly it imparts manageability in my hair. It's creamy and lightweight so it rinses out well, leaving no product film on hair ends and not weighing my hair down. I strongly recommend this product for anyone who has experienced environmental, chemical or mechanical damage to their hair, and for anyone with naturally curly, hard-to-manage hair! -- charlenea, TotalBeauty.com member
