Fat Grafting
Move unwanted fat from a flabby zone on your body and plump up your boobs with it. Sound like a dream come true? Injecting your own fat into your breasts is the newest scalpel-free breakthrough in breast augmentation, but the procedure, which takes a minimum of three to four hours and costs, on average $12,000, is more complicated than it sounds, according to Baltimore, Md., board certified plastic surgeon Ricardo Rodriguez, M.D., of CosmeticSurg.net. The whole process -- removing and injecting the fat -- takes place at the same time, and you undergo IV sedation for the procedure. Unlike traditional lipo, the fat is extracted under low pressure to keep the cells from being damaged. The fat is then "cleaned" (Rodriguez uses a specialized centrifuge to pull out dead cells, red blood cells and other fluids) and immediately injected in microdroplets into the breasts. It takes one to two weeks of downtime to recover (including no driving).
