Mistake No. 5: Tweezing more than one hair at a time

Though it may seem like a time-saver, plucking more than one hair is dangerous when it comes to perfecting your brow shape. "You need to be really aware and take your time," Streicher warns. If you pluck with haste, you'll be more likely to create holes in your brows.

The fix: Every single hair you pull should be one that you have thoughtfully decided needs to go. Once you pluck one or two hairs -- at separate times, of course, step back and look at yourself in the mirror. This will help you get the full effect of your shape. Then you can go back in to pluck more if necessary.

Waxing by a professional all the way! I get it done 2 times a year & the only thing I have to take care of is the hairs that like to grow BETWEEN my brows!!

This is all good and very true. I am still amazed when I go to a beauty counter to pick up a brow pencil they always, to this very day try and get me to buy a darker pencil. Me thinks they are on the wrong side of the counter.

Waxing is something I never did until just this past year. The first time was the worst. I find that the more times I have it done, the easier it gets. I would rather have somebody who knows what they are doing rip them off all in one swoop, than to torture myself in the mirror for an hour! Its not so bad, girls, don't be scared. I even know a few guys who have theirs done, and we all know what big babies THEY are! :)

I really like that you broke down our errors and gave us the remedies. I have pretty bushy brows and am terrified to mess them up so I will stick with a pro. The only problem? Waxing...Ouch!

Please DO NOT get your eyebrows done at Bosley Medical. I had hair implanted in my eyebrow region. It does not look natural at all. I lost all my natural brow hair shortly after the implants. The hairs stand up and grow in different directions. I watched the show on Tyra and felt confident Bosley would do a good job...I was so wrong.
