Agreed, Grrrlfriends! It's unfortunate that we (in the United States) live in a culture that reveres youth to the point of ridiculous artificiality, to the point of essentially throwing away the aged. Granted, we are genetically hard-wired to find health and vitality appealing, as it suggests fertility. But, as humans, we have the capacity to rise above other primates, to revere wisdom and appreciate beauty wherever it might be found (and in whatever form; not always superficial), in people of any age or ethnicity. It's not fair or productive to single out women and praise the ones who "still look good" after their societal-determined, artificial expiration date. I understand that this is a site dedicated to superficial beauty, which has its place, but as we all know, true beauty comes from within and isn't absolutely defined--certainly not by a number.

I also hate the term "cougar". I've seen so many men going through a mid life crisis get applauded by their peers for getting the younger "hot chick", but cougar just sounds like a nasty desperate old woman preying on young studs. YUCK! Just age gracefully, I think men appreciate that more than trying to spackle on the makeup and surgical procedures. For what? A relationship built on looks is shallow and will never last. I'm done...LOL!

Well I have to admit that I despise the word cougar because it is ridiculous and offensive. Older men that date younger women aren't called anything (but pigs in my book!). I think these are just examples of some women (not all that were pictured) that have aged gracefully whether with some plastic surgery help or not. You have to give them credit for looking fabulous in an industry that is constantly being taken over by young, fresh-faced girls. I don't understand why real women get soo mad at celebrity women that have plastic surgery done. Real women get it done too!! And Botox and all that other crap. I hate how women are soo quick to judge other women.
