I purchased Citrus Clear products for my teenage son who has very bad acne, and I wanted something natural and not harmful to his skin. We tried the over the counter lotions and potions and found them to be virtually useless, except for irritating his skin. The medication offered by our GP had some very serious side effects, so i looked for a more natural alternative. Citrus Clear has greatly improved my son's skin in just a very short period of time. With regular use, this product has cleared all irritation and redness from his skin in just over 2 weeks, the acne is most definitely less pronounced and the skin is clearer. I would certainly recommend this product to anybody who is looking for an organic, chemical free way to treat acne.

very good article. clean& clear NEVER did work for me as a tee or older woman (66) in fact it breakes me out worse! but i sure am gonna try the tea tree oil. thanks !

i was so excited to see this article because i am desperate to help my 16 yo daughter find an acne cleanser that works! Than after reading it, I was very disappointed that so many of the products have been discontinued. I am confused as to why this article is still posted if the products that are being reviewed aren't even available! ?

Definitely interested in trying the Tea Tree OIl! I use a tea tree oil toner from the body shop, but it doesn't do all that much. Maybe because it's not 100% tea tree oil.

The cetaphil cleanser is bad. Strong scent that stings eyes. Pump is not aerated so the container gets sucked in when pumped. Yet the lid lets water in somehow. Pump is very difficult to get to the exact position to get out product, so just trying to get it out is tiresome. And I am the type than can overlook other flaws if it works, but it did nothing for me.

oh good to know about these products usually what I do to make acne go away is I use neutrogena wave sonic that vibrating pink thing with the normal foam pads in the pink box and then I use sugar with small lemons but when I sje that it takes like two Weeks or longer to clear acne soo I want faster results.

I have been using an acne treatment with jojoba oil and east cape manuka oil i got from england after my friends mom told me about it and it is much better than anything i have tried before. It not only clears away my acne but it has taken all the greasyness from my skin and has not dried my skin out like other products iv used.

Clean and Clear is absolutely amazing. One of my favorite products is the deep cleaning cream cleanser. Even though its not an "acne cleanser" it still helps to clear up my acne.

I love the Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub! I've also found that it's gentle enough to use on my skin to remove peeling from sunburn. I'm also definitely considering getting the Aveeno Correcting Treatment. I've heard so many good things about it!

I would only recommend Cetaphil as a face wash if you are using a serum/cream/gel acne treatment apart, otherwise its makes no good for your skin, at least for me didnt work...Love Clinique spot treatment gel (its miracle) and all this drugstore famous brands may be very affordable, but acne for me is serious subject and most of those things for me never works...I stick to Vichy

My son is 19 and has had problems on and off with acne. He gets frustrated and 'gives up'. When he uses an astringent like Sea Breaze and Clearasil OVERNIGHT wash 2xs daily, yes even the overnight stuff in the morning, his skin clears right up. He recently lost 80lbs and that seems to have helped too. His diet, alot of water and sticking too that skin regimen!

these products might work on one but may or may not work for others. Treatments for each individual really varies, because of the severity of their acne. I use Puraskin Acne Treatment, it perfectly work on me.
