How to Be a Natural Beauty This Year
These pro makeup and hair tips will let your natural beauty shine through
Just-rolled-out-of-bed waves
Loose waves like Jennifer Aniston's look like natural texture, rather than styled curls. While her bed-head waves take more work than just rolling out of bed, you can copy the look easily with Melville's tips:Step 1: Apply a texturizing spray to wet hair. Try Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Texturizing Sea Spray, $20.
Step 2: Blow dry hair away from your face using a round brush.
Step 3: With a 3/4-inch curling iron, wrap one-inch sections of hair from mid-shafts to ends only (leave the roots straight). Curl random sections of hair in different directions to create a more haphazard, rough texture.
Step 4: Gently run your hands through the waves to break up the curl, then finish with a spritz of hairspray.
