When to apply liner and mascara
Both MAC Pro Artist Chantel Miller and celebrity makeup artist Taylor Chang-Babaian say you should apply your eye makeup before applying your false lashes -- including your eyeliner and mascara. (Try Urban Decay Big Fatty Lash, $20, and L'Oreal Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in Black, $8.95.)"To ensure the hairs look wispy and light like natural lashes," says Babaian, "do not apply mascara on top of false lashes." If you look in the mirror and think your false lashes are crying out for a coat of mascara, go for a heavier or thicker set of lashes next time instead.
