Laser liposuction made a huge splash in the world of plastic surgery when it was approved by the FDA a decade ago. As the technology continues to advance, additional wavelengths are being used for more effective fat melting before the suction process.The SmartLipo Triplex is "the first laser lipolysis system that uses three wavelengths, which can be customized by the surgeon, to permanently destroy fat cells and tighten the skin by stimulating collagen production," says the company.
