These are not "new" tips. Layering helps a scent linger, but only if you're wearing a fragrance that lasts more than 8 hours. Using a frgrance mist as your base before applying actual perfume will help it last longer. Lightly misting your hair (one spritz) and a light mist near the back of your neck are great tips, especially if you're someone who cannot apply perfume directly to your skin. For natural perfumes, try LaVanila, they've got some amazing scents and it's alcohol and chemical free.

I've never really thought about it, but I guess I do layer my fragrances (with body wash, lotion, perfume). But I feel like the perfume is the only scent that you can really smell, the others fade.

I disagree about the deodorant. I think you should try to keep it in the same family as your fragrance. Can you imagine a gourmand scent being ruined by a powder scented deodorant or vice versa?

I collect magazine samples of my favorite scents and wrap them around a hairbrush using a rubber band. Cheapo presto, the fragrance is transferred to my hair!

A great tip for adding fragrance to your hair. Take some leave in conditioner or similiar product and add your perfume to it, rub your hands together and work through your hair. do this with dry hair as well.

I use body spray. While it's not as strong or last as long as perfume, it's cheaper and I can afford to try out different scents. Maybe one day I can buy a real bottle of perfume lol.

Gucci Flora Magnolia is GORGEOUS, I absolutely adore that. I cannot STAND it when I can smell my deodorant. It's one of those things that caused me to completely hate the scent of lavender.
