There aren't a lot of major life changes you can accomplish in a week, but transforming your skin can be one of them. Follow these steps for a better complexion (head to toe) by next weekend
Monday: Switch to gentler cleansers for both face and bodyStart with the basics: Reconsider your cleanser and body wash. If you've been using the same harsh face wash since your teens, it's probably not doing you any favors. "I like a mild cleanser that contains either glycerin or ceramides because it doesn't over dry the skin," says Jaliman. Look for a creamy or gel-like cleanser. And if you're still worried about breakouts, be sure to choose a cleanser that's oil-free.
Opt for a basic, moisturizing body wash, as well. It should leave your skin feeling soft -- never tight. Jaliman also suggests avoiding anything that's overly fragranced -- in this case, simplicity is best.
