How Do You Do Your Makeup When You're Going to Fashion Week?
Our NYC beauty editor will be spending the next eight days interviewing the best beauty professionals in the business. And they will be judging her makeup. (Fun, right?) Here's how she's stepping up her look
Start with BB cream, concealer, and powder Before I reach for any other makeup, I always apply BB cream. Makeup artists often refer to this step as "prepping the canvas," and they do it for good reason. I focus the color on my nose, chin, the center of my forehead, and the tops of my cheeks. This gets rid of redness and discoloration without making me feel like I'm wearing a full face of makeup.
Then, I apply concealer under my eyes, around my nose, and anywhere I have a breakout. And to lock it all in place and keep it from creasing, I use a large brush to dust loose powder all over.
