I think it's ridiculously hedonistic to spend a fortune on creams when there are equally effective ones with proven ingredients. If you have this much money, then please--help someone who doesn't!

No, no, no. ALL of these expensive creams have jar packaging. Even if these including miraculous antioxidants they would be void after exposure to oxygen. Not to mention the constant dipping your fingers into the jar exposing bacteria to the solution. The only true miracle ingredient is retinol, which you need to use meticulously, along with a hefty dosage of SPF to prevent further damage. Otherwise you need to see a plastic surgeon for more dramatic results.

Okay, I admit I love my creams but there is no way I would pay anything near nine hundred. Eating healthy and applying a good lotion and lots of water will do much more for you. Plus you will have a lot more money to go out dancing with. See, cheaper and better for you.

I'll just keep using my Clinique DD Moisturizing lotion that costs less than $15.00 for the small tube. I would rather spend $300+ on some new clothes and other things that I want.

The are ridiculously priced but it was interesting to hear how they're made. Also they're such tiny jars, which makes it even more ridiculous since there's only about a week or two of product in there.

Are you Serious? I will just keep using my $5.99 Trader Joe's Cleanser and Moisturizer, eat healthy foods, lay off the sugar and booze and I bet that I will get better results than those who believe that you can buy a miracle in a bottle! Invest in making yourself healthy instead of believing that there is a lazy way out kinda hype!

L'Oreal and other drugstore brands do as much or more research on their products as these fancy designer labs. There is no need to spend over $300. for a face cream when a drugstore brand can do the same thing.

I do manage to get the expensive goodies once in a while. They are interesting at best. I need a product that works and it good for my skin. I have no need for a person to hand package my product or for a company to use a dated jar to market a new product. I always request samples and if they want my business they give them. I dislike spending money on marketing, pretty jars and expensive advertising campaigns. A product must do something to resolve skin issues at my age. I don't expect a product to reverse time but at the very least help slow down the effects of aging.

I really hate how society has succumbed to going to extremes for their complexion! Honestly, $300?! $900?! Really people? I would sure hope that if I spent that much that I better be going back a couple ages then. Eat right, stay away from harmful chemicals (if you use make up), drink lots of water, and sleep. Then you won't need to be so stupid and buy junk like this...it's just the label you're paying for anyway! I wouldn't be surprised if it was a "Revlon" product inside of a Chanel jar....reallly, people, get with the program! We are all going to age, so why hide it...it's a natural process in life!

(can't edit previous comment, so reposting). I bought a Chanel skin creme years ago after a makeover at the counter. Didn't realize I paid $350 for it until I got home. That made me sick; however, my skin never looked or felt better, but I wouldn't have bought it if I knew how expensive it was. You didn't need much so it lasted a good while.

This is so ridiculous you may as well get some medical spa stuff done, it's much cheaper. My hubby was give a few samples when got my allure at nordstrom and he told me this lady was pushing him to buy this stuff. Well it's a good thing he knows I'm not stupid or foolish and I do my research, which makes me SUPER picky...There eye cream was nothing more than a basic moisturizer, which is also over priced. I rather get me a Fendi purse, and I hate Purses!

This is all absolute, complete and utter rubbish! All of these "miracle" creams are packaged in super unsanitary jars, The fact that it’s packaged in a jar means the beneficial ingredients won’t remain stable once it is opened. All plant extracts, vitamins, antioxidants, and other state-of-the-art ingredients break down in the presence of air, so once a jar is opened and lets the air in, these important ingredients begin to deteriorate. Jars also are unsanitary because you’re dipping your fingers into them with each use, adding bacteria, which further deteriorate the beneficial ingredients.
