Red Carpet-Worthy Hair and Makeup in 10 Minutes or Less
The celebrity hairstyles and makeup looks you loved from the Emmy Awards minus the hours of prep time
Hairstyle: Tina Fey
Katie Seguin, celebrity stylist at the Marie Robinson salon (she works on Rachel Weisz), explains how to copy Fey's glamorous red carpet ponytail. First, she says to start by prepping hair with Phyto Phytovolume Actif Volumizer Spray With Keratin Amino Acids, $28 and blow drying hair with a medium-sized round brush, lifting at the roots to add volume. Separate out your bangs and tease the rest of your hair at the crown with a fine-tooth comb. Once you've created your desired amount of volume, smooth over the hair with the comb to mask the teased area. Gather hair into a low ponytail and secure with an elastic.Pull the ponytail tight and then loosen sections around the front with your fingers to create a softer feel. Mist with hairspray to lock in the style.
