Red Carpet-Worthy Hair and Makeup in 10 Minutes or Less
The celebrity hairstyles and makeup looks you loved from the Emmy Awards minus the hours of prep time
Makeup: January Jones Celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin created this look for Jones. Goodwin says she "used ultra feminine colors with a super sculptural liner for a cool update" on the "classic late '50s" style. To create the look, keep the face "understated with minimal foundation, pale pink cream cheek color [on the apples of the cheeks], and a light pink sheer gloss" like Estee Lauder High Gloss in Blush, $16 on the lips. For the dramatic eye, use a liquid liner like Chanel Liquid Eyeliner in Noir, $34 to create a thick line "along the lash for an exaggerated cat eye effect," says Goodwin. Then apply two coats of black mascara on top lashes and one coat of purple mascara on bottom lashes (try Almay Intense I-Color Play Up Volumizing Mascara in Amethyst, $7.99).
