I love the revlon foundation powder because when applied ISPs cooling the only problem is u have to get another brush to use. I also love loreal lift foundation it goes on like a Serum.

I like that you consistently give a range of products with prices everyone can afford. I didn't see my favorite foundation, however--Lancome's "Dual Finish Versatile Powder Foundation." It is never, ever cakey but just leaves me looking like my skin is flawless. It blends seamlessly. And coverage is buildable. I can't go without it.

Cool article. I would add to the list Maybelline Airbrush foundation. Use it with a stippling brush and your foundation will look - flawless-dewy but flawless. Milani mineral foundation was a surprise to me.-interesting.

Hmmm...these are all to fake looking for my skin. Armani's luminous silk is exactly that and what I like is that you can never tell I have makeup on. It just looks like I have a beautiful complexion. It is expensive but I use less than one drop. Lasts me a year. You can also build on it if you want.

I bought this foundation on the basis of this recommendation. It is amazing so light, dewy and very natural. I have received several compliments about my skin which has never happened before. I really love this product. I think it is actually a bargain and a little goes a long way.

I love the Lancome Teint Miracle too. I rarely wear full-on foundation, usually just opting for concealer, Benefit's , or Bare Mineral's Mineral Veil. When I want more coverage, or my skin looks dull, I use this over primer. I also like you can build the coverage, if needed. Great stuff!

these seem like good products. i find MAC foundation incredibly cakey, but i am a huge fan of clinique. in particular, i use the even better liquid foundation. i may look into the superbalanced powder as something to carry in my purse for touch-ups through the day!

I agree with @grass. The majority of the foundations are expensive. For each expensive foundation, they could have come up with a cost effective alternative. Just a thought! I use both expensive and inexpensive foundations that match perfectly which is hard with my skin tone.

I absolutely love Maybelline Dream Smooth & Matte Moose. Only thing the matte moose is a little heavier, and I tend to dilute it with a lotion, plus use a light hand ! Comes out lovely in pictures :)

This is a great foundation. Gives you a nice glow without looking too shiny. For a cheaper option the Maybelline Fit Me foundation is without a doubt the best drugstore foundation I have EVER used!

Clinique Superbalanced Powder Makeup is just alright, in my opinion, as is Stila One Step. MAC Prolongwear changed my life though! Most amazing foundation ever. Doesn't melt off during the day, and actually seems to keep me from getting oily. Seriously, that's a miracle.

Of all the foundations I've tried (and loved) I haven't purchased any of these. I think I will start with MAC (It was used on me during a photoshoot once and my skin looked flawless for about 10 hours-I'm not kidding- after the all-day shoot I went out dancing and it still looked amazing.
