Mix a detangler + a volumizing spray
Volumizing sprays are great, but you still want your hair to have movement with that height. That's why celebrity stylist Mitch Stone says you should add a detangler, which will bring out your natural texture without weighing down your hair. To apply, first spray your hair all over with the detangler. Next, apply the volumizing spray only to the roots of your hair. Finally, blow dry.

I can understand the need to use more than one product to get the desired effect for certain hairstyles. However, mixing two of the suggested salon products listed in this article can get rather pricey, especially if you wash your hair every day. While I appreciate tips on which types of styling products to mix together, I\'m disappointed that there weren\'t suggestions for less expensive drugstore brands.

I am hoping that the sleek & shine mix will work for me I already use Josie Moran's Argan Oil for hair but I still get the frizz so maybe this will work. I add a lot of heat damage to my color treated hair

I dont see why people are calling this too complecated, these are things that most people are already doing and only take like 1 extra min (if even) along with the usual blow dry. I really liked this article, alot of people i know wonder what products to mix and how. its really nice to know!

Loved these product mix-ups! I'm glad to learn that I already do a couple of these for the same desired effect. I will be trying some of the others soon...styling wax and volumizing hairspray in particular.
