Bonus: Contouring with powder
If you want a subtler look -- and one that's faster as well -- try contouring using powders instead of liquids or creams. You can use bronzer and powder highlighters to quickly apply and blend. Since powder is a less dramatic finish, you can use shades that contrast more with your skin tone (up to four shades lighter or darker).
