Oval: Before you contour
If you have an oval face like Erica's, you don't really need to "correct" anything, Krizki says. But you can bring out your cheekbones and slim other features (the nose for example) if you'd like. One thing to keep in mind: your contouring color should be around two shades darker than your natural skin tone -- any more will look too dramatic. Likewise, your highlighting shade should be two shades lighter than your skin tone.
