We first spotted it on the fall runways, and then it took over Sephora's shelves: Cobalt blue eye makeup is everywhere. These are the products that are helping us pull off the trend
Certain shades of blue make my skin crawl. I find powder blue to be especially offensive, and teal blue is a close second. What can I say? Some reactions are visceral. (And my frightening, blue eye makeup-wearing third-grade teacher might have something to do with it.)
But then there's cobalt -- a color so beautiful, it's magnetic. Standing in front of a wall of paint chips at Home Depot, my eyes will gravitate towards this shade every time. Cerulean, azure, lazuline -- whatever you want to call it, I think it's perfection.
