"With black-brown eyes you have to be careful with going too heavy," Turnbow warns. She says it creates a "black hole" effect. She also recommends staying away from flat, mud brown-colored shadows, and instead using creamy, golden tones.

Bonus tip: Wearing gold earrings like Longoria's can also give the eye a sparkle by accentuating any gold undertones in them.

i only liked Eva Longoria's and Cindy Crawford's makeup for brown eyes. Those grayish shades of brown and green on other ladies look sort of dirty, and make the face look tired. I really like golden hues, intense black, purple/burgundy, and sometimes deep emerald green on brown eyes, though, those make them pop instantly, but none are shown here :(
