No matter how hard I try, I can't love BB creams. Either the texture is effective and the color is bad, or vice versa. CC creams? Open to experimentation here . . .

This was an informative post! I'm excited to try the CC creams but find it frustrating you can't get "free samples" anywhere, it seems. Since you're paying a good amount for the product, you would think the beauty and skin companies would be generous with samples.

i love bb creams im not too sure that cc cream will be all that great for me, they seem like they will clog my pores. I like that bb creams are lighter but ill give it a try anyways! ill probably be going for the olay cc cream

maybe i should try some of these. i tried the maybeline bb cream and it made me break out lke crazy! talk about a nightmare. and a total waste of money.

Out of all of the BB creams I have tried (and that is almost every kind), I found 2 that worked well for me. I think a CC cream sounds more like what I want. Hopefully, more will reach the open market.

I have tried practically all of the bb creams and there are some I love like Dr. Jart and some I cant stand like the Maybelline and the L'Oreal. I really love the idea of skincare and makeup combined though so I will continue to try the products that offer these added benefits. I really want to get my hands on the Rachel K!

I have tried a few BB creams and haven't been overly excited with the results. I have to use foundation over them 1st of all which when I'm just running errands and want a casual, fresh look, I wanted the BB cream to be enough coverage without using foundation. 2nd, I do not really see any "brightening" effect that most claim to have. I'm looking forward to the CC cream but I'm hoping they will perform better!

I've been wondering about BB Creams because I have a very uneven skin tone. Some of the reviews talked about the BB Cream caking in eyebrows. From your descriptions of CC Creams, I am looking forward to trying one and just skipping the BB phase all together!

Yet another empty promise to make us all run out & give them our hard earned $. Rumor has it that the formulas for the BB & CC creams released in America are not the same as what is available in other countries. So alot of it is a marketing ploy.

I don't like the way this article is written. Not a bit. Author keep comparing CC to some generic BB cream but, please, we all know that texture, coverage and shade selection differs greatly between brands and within brand lines. Oh, c'mmon, you can even see on p. 7 picture that Rachel K product is called Mineral Color Control BLEMISH BALM (which is BB stands for). In my opinion, whole CC cream is very artificial as essentially this is nothing but BB creams with not even new but supposedly improved properties. More than that, there are tones of excellent BB creams that already possess these properties with exception that they are not branded as CC.

It's not just fair or dark skin people with difficulty matching to BB creams. Girls like me who have lighter olive skin are irritated with being forever in between light and light/med shades, especially when many of them are still a a bit pink.

Real Asian BB creams are used for skin whitening as well. The Chanel CC cream is amazing. If you have a opportunity to try it, go for it.
