There's something truly motivational about celebrity fitness guru Kristin McGee. Her energy is infections -- you can't help but want to work out when she's around (which probably explains why celebs like Tina Fey, LeAnn Rimes, and Bethenny Frankel all train with her). She already has a dozen yoga and Pilates DVDs to her credit, but her latest one -- which just launched in September -- is her best yet.
The DVD is broken down into three 25-minute workouts: yoga with weights, Pilates, and yoga flow. Plus, there's a bonus five minutes of cardio. We recommend mixing up the order and combination each day to keep from getting bored.
i think that for some of the workouts the presence of an instructor is quite necessary - to check posture and alignment, so to avoid injuries and make sure that the workout hits the spot
Sometimes I just love doing a workout DVD. Especially during the winter if I can't motivate to go to the gym--I can get a good workout without leaving home. Thanks for the suggestions!
