I use Clinique Moisture Surge in the summer, and Cetaphil in the winter. Happy to see that both were on this list, they are great!

I don't care what anyone says...Clinique is horrible. It contains mineral oil, which acts as a barrier on your skin so you're not actually getting any of the moisture from the product.

I am so happy that an affordable product was the number one choice. $400 for moisturizer is ridiculous! I wonder why none of the Boots No. 7 creams didn't make the list since the press made such a big deal about how great they were.

I love Eucerin creams and right now I'm in love with Monsia facial care creams. Really moisturizing for skin and the natural oils + vitamins seem really good :)

I was actually looking at this list to find a replacement for the Body Shop Vit C moisturizer. I have it now and it is really disappointing, definitely leaves my skin feeling greasy and worsened my complexion considerably. Before I used the Vit E moisturizer and my skin was very smooth, switched to Vit C for summer but it was a mistake. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

As someone with severely dry skin that likes to flake and peel, the Cetaphil is a very budget friendly moisturizer. It's basic and really nice to use for extra moisture, especially during the winter. It's helped clear up some infections I had on my face as well. (Let me tell you, those suckers were awful.)

I tried this for my sensitive, combination, oily and acne prone skin and as good as it felt on my skin all it did was make me break out. It didn't feel light or non-greasy on my face, it felt the opposite. I'm sure it would work for someone with different skin but it just didn't do any good for me.

But which are good for different kinds of skin and age ranges? Normal skin at 30 is not very dry skin at 45. Just harvesting ratings is useless without context.

I don't think that Clinique's Moisture Surge is meant to be used as an actual moisturizer, but rather as a supplement to your regular moisturizer...then again, I'm not 100% sure, but that's what I've heard :)

I am the type of consumer who reads EVERYthing I can about anti-aging products. I am 36 with minimal lines but only b/c i adhere to every little recommendation we've all read about. I've tried all the beauty lines of moisturizers and I even use Vitamin A. I have not seen anything come even close to the Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer from Made from Earth in terms of creating a very glowing, dewy look and, when used consistently, meaning day and night, will make a BIG difference in those frown lines. I am so amazed by the Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer that i just purchased another jar when i'm only a quarter of the way through my old one! I'm scared they may discontinue on me!!

these products are worth trying out... but I will start with the less expensive products.. I have been using Olay products (currently using 7 in 1 day wear) so I want to check out Kiehl's or Body Shop!

I'm beginning to think theres nothing out there for real, I have bought so many products for my face, as far as face creams for dry skin and wrinkles . lol I have spent big money on big promises that state they will help with the fine lines and crows feet. nothing and I mean nothing has helped. softer skin maybe, but not worth the price. as far as this stuff goes unless it's given to me, I wont even try it. I give up. good luck finding the mircle cure ladies.

I just bought The Body Shop Vitamin C moisturizer. The one I really wanted was the Shiso Moisture White line that is not sold in US, but the sale associate recommended this one as second best. I guess I am glad I bought it :) Hope it is really as good as they say! Will strat using it soon!

Wexler skin care line is good, but it doesn't go with my makeup. It always made me turn orange. Ponds.......lol what grandma or mother you didn't know who use or did use Ponds. My aunt is a faithful user. Helpful.

Bodyshop's vitamin C is NO. 1? are you kidding me? this whole VC line messed up my skin so much! I'm surprised La Mer is not on the list. The La Prairie is too expensive compared to the others on this list. It should work better if you do a list for cheaper products then another for the more high end products.

I'm laughing at the pricing of the other products because I know Cetaphil is the way to go. :) I have the lotion, two cleansers (one for the sink and one for my shower), and I used to have the cream before my sister stole it from me.

I may try The Body Shop or Elizabeth Arden. But the price of the La Prairie product is too hilarious. At a certain price point, there's almost no performance that could justify the expense.

I read somewhere in some oprah publication (or somewhere LIKE that) that by the age of 50, a female needs a good moisturizer, which should be worn daily to prevent and treat wrinkles.  Luckily for me, a co-worker in my office recommended the Shielo Complexion Moisturizer. The Shielo Moisturizer is a great price for the quality of the ingredients, and I though "why not?" .  I tried many expensive creams. Nothing works like this one, just try for 1 month at least and you will see how your wrinkles get thinner and thinner. I use it every other night on my forehead, after I noticed very fine lines criss-crossing my forehead. After one month, I noticed the fine lines on my forehead are completely GONE. My face looks 25 years old again. Amazing. I'm going to tackle my eyes next...

i use noxzema and clearasil because my doctor recommended it but, it's drying out my skin. I have a very oily forehead! That's my main acne location (i also have some on my nose) it worked at first but, now the acne is comming back and WORST this time!! :( I agree with aqrose, my skin needs moisturizing too, i hate when it peels and feels like sandpaper! I'm not even in high school yet!! :S HELP!

It'd be nice if you'd specify what type of skin each product is meant for! I have oily skin that still needs moisturizing after washing & have yet to find one that doesn't make me soon feel like I need to wash my face again.
