No. 17: St. Ives Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer, $5.39

TotalBeauty.com average reader rating: 9.1*
Why: "It's nice to finally find a product that does what it's supposed to," readers say. And what is that exactly? Well, it "doesn't give me acne," "provides silky smooth moisturizing without leaving your skin feeling greasy," and "is such a huge jar for the price," readers say. Another plus: "I am going to be 48 years old later this year … I have used this since I was 18 … I honestly can say people think I am in my mid 20s."

I rarely if ever use a moisturizer in the morning because I'm afraid of being too shiny and oily later in the day, but I may try some of these!

I wore Olay throughout my whole childhood and have always thought it was a great product.

As someone with severely dry skin that likes to flake and peel, the Cetaphil is a very budget friendly moisturizer. It's basic and really nice to use for extra moisture, especially during the winter. It's helped clear up some infections I had on my face as well. (Let me tell you, those suckers were awful.)
