Any women over 40 or getting close can tell weird stuff starts to happen, can't lose weight, acne and finally frizzy hair. I'm not sure when it happened, but my natural color turned to dishwater blond, and my natural curls have turned to FRIZZ! So I went to my wonderful and really expensive hair dresser to have the usual cut and color and when she went to wash my hair she said that they just got a new shampoo and conditioner called Shielo and that is smelled great. So she washes my hair and OMG - is she right - it smelled incredible but then she put the conditioner in and ran it through my hair and within one minuet she could run her fingers through it with no problem, I was amazed. Its the Hydrating line from the Shielo line. When I used the Shielo products on my hair at home and was amazed again that it smelled great but was so smooth and tangle free, my hair is long and very fine so is also easily weighted down and tangled but now it is soooo easy to style I cant believe my hair feels this good after a color and after blow drying.

I always use a leave-in conditioner..and it does make a difference allright. Unfortunately, nothing heals split ends fully..they (so far) have to be cut. My hair looks good to very good with a leave-in plus gel.

Not a big fan of these leave in treatments. I've true numerous brands ,but for me it makes my hair look like I haven't washed it ad nasty looking.

The best conditioner I have ever used is Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner, the argan oil hydrates and strengthens my hair making it nice and healthy. Plus the extra shine is appreciated! Thanks for the informative article :)

the redkin one sounds great. i have very fine hair that tangles easily, but also gets weighed down easily, so leave-in conditioner is tricky! i might be trying that one though...

I adore the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-In cream! It leaves my hair so silky and shiny and smells delicious! The Herbal Essences None of Your Frizziness cream looks like a good buy too, so I might have to try that out!

I'm pretty pleased that most of these are relatively cheap. I'm not sure whether I should be using a leave-in though because my hair gets weighed down pretty easily.

KMS hairsprays are definitely worth the price! My hair is thick, in desperate need of a haircut, and gets frizzy very quickly. Spraying KMS while having my hot rollers in has been a heaven sent! I even have curls the next morning.

I use the Redken leave-in conditioner and I love it. I use a tiny amount after my shower and my hair is much easier to brush through. I have fine hair that is easily tangled and this doesn't make it greasy or weighed down at all. A little goes a long way. I want to try some of the other leave-ins on this list, though, so after I run out, I'll have to come back to this list.
