I tried a 14-day sample of La Mer Moisturizing soft cream. Was not impressed. I even went to my local La Mer cosmetic counter to ensure proper application. Did not make my skin hydrated at all. Disapointed.

You have to check out the arquitetus cream from Bel Col! I buy mine from sweden and it is sooo good! I love everything about it! ( I would like to try La Mer though, just because :) )

I love the diversity of this September list. The real standouts for me are the Shu Uemura oil cream (my hair is ultra fine) and the Yes To Shampoos.

As much as I love MUFE, the Black Tango palette is a bit of a let down. The only color I actually like is the cream. This is a great color if you like the Aqua Black eyeliner and want a few more colors.

This article was diverse in its range of different types of products for different uses but as many others have said most of the items are quite expensive. While paying more for a better product as it will have better results, last longer etc can be worthwhile there is a point at which this just doesnt work for the average woman. too expensive is just that, TOO EXPENSIVE! The face cream didnt really provide much in the way of detail to explain why it would be effective and price justified. I have found that Neostrata products are very effective, deliver results and while they arent cheap the price top is about 90 for a few of the products. They have plain packaging, clearlt describe their ingredients and their effect the money is in the product not the image. I have noticed that there is a difference in Canadian line so I cant speak about the US line. I have tried many other high end products Lancome, Dior up to 200 and I get a fancier package and bottle, more luxury presentsation but no better results. NEOSTRATA delivers and you pay for what you get, results.

You don't need to go expensive to get results. La Mer is really not worth it in my opinion. It is expensive and just not effective enough to justify the expense. Don't pay big money for a name and pretty packaging. Using retinols allows for exfoliation and cell regeneration. It doesn't have to be expensive. It's important to check labels and know what's in your products. If you can't say it? Maybe it does'nt belong on your face. I agree with many here about the Shu Uemura Oil. Nothing else of the list made it for me this time.

I like most of the product suggestions and look forward to trying quite a few especially the Shu Uemura Oil for fine hair. But really, La Mer cream??? I cannot fathom paying $150 for that little amount of any product!

I'm looking forward to the L'Oreal Mythic oil. I like that it has Argan oil, and that a small goes a long way, and of course that L'Oreal offers this product.
