When you break a nail ...

Find a matchbox.

It's the tenth frame, and you're down by 7 pins. But thanks to your sweaty palm, an early release of the ball causes you to lose the game and a nail. Whether you're bowling with friends or out and about and find yourself with a broken nail with no clipper as far as the eye can see, snag a matchbox. You can use its rough striking surface as a makeshift nail file.

Carry alcohol pads and nail glue, all the time. Even if you don't wear fake nails or need first aid, there are a million uses for these!

my roommate curls her lashes with a spoon and the first time i saw her doing it, i thought she was crazy! but after seeing her nicely curled lashes, i guess using a spoon really does work :D

The toilet paper hint reminded me of this obnoxious person I worked with, you know the one that acts like she is smarter and prettier than everyone else around? She kept her toothbrush in a glass on the sink in the bathroom at work. I assumed she never read or heard that the water from the toilet could fly up to 30 feet at times. I always imagined that it was all over the toothbrush that she used.

Some of these are helpful, and some are less so... who carries around match boxes? Also, before you stick a business card or credit card in your mouth, think about all the hands that have touched it. Ick.

I have used a seat cover to blot. But I've read never to put hand lotion into hair because it dries out your hair, but I guess in a pinch...

I've used the hand cream to fix my frizzy hair. It works for a quick fix. I will try the antibacterial gel for my hair when it gets greasy.
