Maybe you're sore from hitting the gym like a maniac. Or perhaps you're dealing with chronic pain you can't seem to shake. Here are 7 simple stretches that'll put an end to your aches and pains so that you can start the New Year feeling great
Try the downward dogDo you feel like you carry all your stress in your shoulders? If you're chained to a desk all day and have some serious knots, try this pose to stretch your shoulders:
• Start on your hands and knees. Hands should be shoulder-distance apart with palms flat on the floor.
• Bend your knees, engage your abs, and pull yourself back into what looks like an inverted V. Feet should be shoulder-distance apart.
• Try to reach your heels to the floor and your butt up toward the ceiling.
• Relax your neck and body, then do it again for about a minute.
