I agree with volta and debjosh--sure, MAYBE you could do these looks in under four minutes IF you have perfect skin or you aren't including the time it takes to perfect your skin. While I could definitely shorten the amount of time it takes to put on my makeup, I really enjoy doing it! The idea of "less is more" is nice, but claiming it will only take 4 min is a little ridiculous.

Well, all of these are going to have extras going with them-- foundation, mascara for some, concealer, etc. I hate applying makeup though-- a lot of my friends spend 30 minutes or more applying makeup. That's crazy in my opinion; I can't even think of how much or what they could possibly be putting on in that time. Getting ready for school or work for over an hour just seems crazy. I can't really say that this was helpful, as I had done most of these before on my own, but I do like the concept. Perhaps some complete makeup looks (foundation, etc. included) under 10 minutes would be better instead of just eye looks and then a gloss.

This goes by the assumption that the wearer already has a nice even complexion. It's obvious that someone with not-so-great skin like me needs much more time. Most these women were already wearing makeup underneath too.

These quickies are terrific, and give just enough polish (sometimes even a bit more!) for a workday or if you just want to look better while doing errands, etc. The only issue I have with this whole story is that most of the women came in already wearing some sort of makeup:powder, concealer, mascara, or something else. That should have been taken into consideration. just saying.

Napoleon Perdis makes some of the best lip glosses. I think this was kind of cheating since the women came to work already wearing make up.

this was not a true 4-minute makeup for any of these looks since all of the women started out wearing their usual makeup, which was not counted into the 4-minutes
