Work Out The Hunger Games Way

Plus Gaga channels Donatella, belly button cheese (really), and more of the top stories of the day

• We generally hate working out, but the chance to pretend to be Katniss Everdeen? Hell yes! The New York Sports Club definitely has our number, because they've just relaunched Hunger Games-inspired fitness classes. The sessions include workouts with bow and arrow, running intervals and doing the sorts of things you'd imagine fit teenagers living in a dystopian future might do to stay active. [NY Post]

• Because your shopping problem wasn't severe enough, may we introduce you to The Hunt? It's a new shopping app the allows you to be a total shopping creep. You take photos of the stuff you love -- whether it's a new pair of boots on a stranger on the train, or a stupidly cute clutch you spotted on some girl walking by, and send it out there to the universe: The Hunt community can help you find what you're looking for, crowdsourcing and searching for your desired items. So basically it's like Shazaam, for clothes. Why hasn't someone thought of this sooner? [Glamour]

• Ladies, we've got priorities. For example? According to a recent study, the average British woman spends just a little over a month of her life at the salon. In total, it works out to about 36 days over a lifetime getting hair cuts, blow outs, colorings and the like. (Frankly, we're surprised it's not more.) [Stylelist]

• Miley Cyrus claims she's a total hermit. (Uh-huh. Oh sure.) And so we imagine she spent her 21st birthday cuddled up at home darning socks and listening to Taylor Swift and drinking oversized mugs of tea, because that's so Miley. She was, at the very least, enjoying her "early bday pressie" from Marc Jacobs (we think it's the leather jacket in this pic, though it's hard to tell). [Twitter]

• Try not to barf (seriously) but food writer Michael Pollan had a cheese cultured from his belly button lint and yeah. Just. Yeah. [FastcoDesign]

• Lady Gaga is giving some serious Donatella Versace Realness in her new Versace ads. Miss Ga is the new face of the brand. [Huffington Post]
