Who's That Girl? You'll Never Guess

Plus argan and asthma, the surprising reason sitting is bad for you, and more of the top stories of the day

Little Miss Sunshine's Abigail Breslin is all growed up, and says that ever since she went blonde, people don't recognize her anymore -- even the costars she ran into at the Toronto Film Festival. It might also be because she's 17 now, and officially a teenager and everything, but the super bleached blonde locks aren't helping either. "I was at a supermarket and this girl was like, 'Oh my God, that's Abigail Breslin,'" she said. "And her friend was like, 'No, it's not. She looks nothing like that.' And I was like, 'Okay.'" [Huffington Post]

• Are you sitting down? Okay, then you might want to get up. Because sitting for long periods at a time without physical activities has been linked to depression. A study published in the American Journal of Preventative Medicine found that women who spent the majority of their day sitting, with no physical exercise were way more likely to be depressed. But the good news? Even if you sit all day, adding a bit of physical activity -- a trip to the gym, a yoga class, whatever -- can make a huge difference in your mental health. [Glamour]

Argan is supposed to be some magical wonder ingredient in makeup and skincare products that makes your face look ah-may-zing. But! It may also be causing huge problems for cosmetics factory workers. Argan in powder form -- which is commonly used to produce foundation -- has been linked to asthma and allergies among factory employees. Keep in mind, though, the subject group was super small -- just 9 people -- and only three out of four of those with allergies could be linked directly to the powder itself. [Medical Daily]

Vogue did a whole Instagram photo shoot that is part of their new #VogueInstaFashion initiative. So if you like seeing ensembles featuring $70 Adidas sneakers paired with $1,270 Proenza Schouler trousers, go forth, my friend. [Vogue]

• Oh geez, Subway -- yes, home of the foot-long sub, Subway -- hosted a sandwich fashion show. Which sounds delicious, except it wasn't a bunch of models carrying sandwiches down the runway, oh no. It was models dressed in clothing fashioned from Subway wrappers and accoutrements. Spice Girl Mel B. and Jared the Subway guy (natch), judged the competition. But nobody answered the big question -- did the runway smell like Subway bread? [Buzzfeed]
