If you watched the mid-'90s sitcom "Sister, Sister," then you undoubtedly love Tia Mowry (and, of course, her identical twin sister, Tamera). Their characters were hilarious, adorable and totally relatable. Now, Mowry (Tia, to be clear) hosts her own show on the Cooking Channel called "Tia Mowry at Home," where she whips up healthy recipes -- and she's endearing as ever.
We caught up with Mowry (still Tia) to talk about what she'll be doing this Mother's Day. "I want to feel glamorous," she says. She envisions herself wearing a fancy silk robe, piling on some jewels and spritzing herself with
Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds Lustre. Then, she's going to make her own pancake brunch -- because she wants to ensure it's both delicious and guilt-free.
Her go-to pancakes are flourless and banana-based: "You mash two ripe bananas with three large eggs, and add a cup of rolled oats -- plus baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, honey and vanilla," she says. (You can find the
full recipe here.)
Try them this Sunday. Then, be sure to spritz on some perfume for an extra glamorous Mother's Day.
