• File Under: That thing doesn't go with that thing. Rihanna revealed that Princess Diana is the "Diamonds" singer's style icon of choice. "'You know who is the best who ever did it? Princess Diana. Every look was right. She was gangsta [sic] with her clothes. She had these crazy hats. She got oversize jackets," Rihanna told Glamour magazine. "I loved everything she wore." And actually? You can kind of see it at points. No, no, not the crazy cut off tee shirts and mini-skirts, of course. But it does seem that RiRi's copying Diana's look at points (check out this black tux look for proof). [DailyMail]

• Rita Ora's new hair color reminds us of our favorite ice cream truck popsicle -- the Bomb Pop, all red white and blue. [Grazia]

• Psoriasis is basically a super frustrating skin disease to have -- just ask Cara Delevingne or Kim Kardashian, who've both admitted to suffering from the disease's signature red, scaly patches. But! There may be a small silver lining: Psoriasis may protect against viral protections. A new study found that psoriatic skin contains something called Interleukin-29, which make antiviral proteins that actually help prevent infection and disease. So that's a small gain in the plus column. [XO Vain]

• Well, well, well: A University of Montreal study team found that female doctors scored better when it came to quality of care, but male doctors rated higher when it came to productivity. But before we think "productive" equals "better," study lead Valerie Martel noted, ""Doctors who take the time to explain problems to their patients may avoid these patients returning after a month because they are worried about a detail. More productive physicians may not be the ones we think." [Medical News Today]

• Marilyn Monroe is the new (old?) face of Chanel. The luxury brand found footage of the iconic bombshell waxing poetic on her love of Chanel No. 5, and is using the archival material to cobble together a new advertising campaign. Which seems a little ... bizarre. The new print and TV ads will be out in November. [Style]

• French stripe fanatic Jean Paul Gaultier tapped British director Johnny Green to create a filmic love story for his scents Classique and Le Mâle. It's a love story starring Jarrod Scott and Rianne Ten Haken as the two fragrances. They'll play a sailor and his girlfriend, natch. [WWD]

• We are so in love with Mini-pup, a not very mini great dane who happens to be very, very into fashion. Mini loves dressing up and curates really cute fashion collections. Yes, even though she's a dog! [Mini-Pup]

• Ever wonder why there's still no birth control pill on the market for guys? It seems like that would be helpful, no? It turns out male BC research began right around when a female pill was first developed, but it's been fraught with problems -- namely that it's been linked to impotence. And no guy likes the sound of that. [Gizmodo]
