Sugar Scrub
A sugar scrub is one of the simplest at-home recipes to cure cracked lips, and chances are that you already own the two required ingredients. Simply mix equal parts Vaseline with plain white sugar. Apply the mix to your lips, scrub gently and wipe off with a washcloth. This will help exfoliate and moisturize dry, chapped lips.

Coconut and Sugar Mix
Combine 1 teaspoon coconut oil, 1 teaspoon raw honey and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar for an all-natural lip scrub that works well and tastes great.

Peppermint Mocha Lip Scrub
This lip scrub recipe is well worth the extra ingredients for the delicious scent of chocolate and the exfoliation. It requires 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon castor oil, 1/2 teaspoon cocoa, 1/2 teaspoon coffee grounds and 3 drops of peppermint oil (not to be confused with peppermint extract, which is rich with alcohol and may irritate cracked lips).

Natural Lip Scrub
Combining 1 teaspoon each of brown sugar and white sugar with 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of olive oil makes a lip scrub that is natural, safe to ingest and easy to make. Such easy ingredients make it the perfect choice for a spur-of-the-moment addition to spa night with the girls.

Nectar Lip Scrub
This lip scrub calls for 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon agave nectar. The nectar ramps up the moisturizing effects of the lip scrub and can extend the shelf life if you're making lip scrub to keep for later.

Strawberry Lemonade Scrub
According to the popular Hairspray and High Heels blog, you can combine 1/8 teaspoon strawberry extract, 3/8 teaspoon pure lemon extract, 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon olive oil. You'll have a perfectly pink lip scrub that tastes like strawberry lemonade on a hot summer's day. As an added bonus, the lemon extract will help lighten darker lips and prevent or get rid of blemishes around the lips.

Tinted Lip Scrub
If you're planning on using your lip scrub frequently to help cure your cracked lips, why not have it in your favorite shade of pink? Simply put 1 teaspoon Vaseline, 1 tablespoon sugar and the end of your favorite tube of lipstick into a small jar. Mix well to make sure the color is even and uniform, and you'll have a lip scrub that offers lasting color.

Vanilla Scrub
Just mix evaporated cane juice sugar, vanilla oil, and jojoba and peppermint oils in equal parts for this natural lip scrub that's perfect for curing cracked lips.
