The Plea for a Plus-Size Princess, Shirtless David Beckham and Rachel Zoe Cancels NYFW

A high school student has petitioned Disney for a change in Princess policy and more of the day's top stories

• For the first time since 2011, Rachel Zoe, who gave birth to her son, Kaius, in December, won't be a part of NYFW. "While I look forward to New York Fashion Week each season, I've made the difficult decision to move our fall 2014 runway show from Feb. 13 in New York to a later date in Los Angeles. As a new mother, my newborn son is too young to travel with me and I'm unable to leave him for the amount of time required to appropriately prepare for the show in New York," Zoe said in a statement. What can we expect to see in L.A.? More 60s inspired bohemian clothes. [WWD]

• Instead of worrying about prom or cramming for exams, Jewel Moore, a high school junior from Virginia has taken the Disney company to task for its unrealistic portrayal of women. Oh, and she wants them to get cracking on bringing a "plus-size female protagonist who is as bright, amazing and memorable as their others" into the mix. Want to help the cause? Trademark hits the web later this month

• Tory Burch's former step-daughters Pookie and Louisa are launching their own sportswear brand, Trademark, later this month -- thanks to investment capital from their dad, J. Christopher Burch. Available exclusively online, and at a SoHo boutique they hope to open in April, the line "is an extension of the pair's own collective fashion experience, which includes summers spent in Nantucket searching for the consummate sweater; scouring Tokyo or other exotic locales for inspiration." • While the Seahawks were busy trouncing the Broncos at yesterday's Super Bowl, the ads, at least, kept home audiences entertained. And, when it came to capturing the female component, H&M won the spread by showcasing a shirtless David Beckham. Easy score? Sure. Did that make it any less fun to watch? Heck to the NO.
