Pharrell Williams to Launch a Fragrance -- But, Wouldn't You Rather Smell This Guy?
Celeb scents are a dime a dozen, but getting to cozy up to this rising star might be worth its weight in gold

And, why not? Heck, if they can pull in even a smidgen of the bales-full of cash that Paris Hilton or Jennifer Lopez do with their fragrances, what's to keep them from giving it the old college try?
So, that must be what enticed Pharrell Williams into the olfactory factory. The rapper just told Details magazine that he's hoping to become the latest scentsation (I know, I know) by creating his very own fragrance in much the same way he creates everything else; "I create based on what I feel like is missing. You jump in and follow your gut. It's like a sculpture -- you're just adding on more clay, you're chiseling away and adding on until you feel like it's done, and you stand back and go, 'Oh! It's a person.'"
And, while that is no doubt cryptic -- perhaps intentionally so -- what I'm left wondering is not what it's going to smell like or when I'll be able to douse my (imaginary) boyfriend (George Clooney) in it, but, rather, why it can't be Clint Eastwood's son, Scott, who's offering up whiffs of his real-life pheromones to lusty takers.
Since he burst onto the scene earlier this week -- thanks to a particularly steamy photo shoot with Noe DeWitt on Town & Country website, Clint's 27-year-old son has been making it hard for me to concentrate on, well, pretty much anything but him (sorry, George) despite the fact that he could very well have toked up that most-definitely stinky stogy. It's the squint maybe, or the hands -- I'm digging the hands. Or, the exceedingly palbable "Go ahead make my day, afternoon and night" vibe he's putting out there. Whatever the reason, this kid's gotten my attention without enlisting more than just one of my five senses. Imagine what he could do with two!
So, my parting gift to you this T.G.I. Friday afternoon is much more than a greasy Blooming Onion, it's the permission to let your mind wander to where -- and from whom -- you'd like your next fragrant fantasy to emanate. And, if you'd like to share the secret info, we'll keep it to ourselves...
