We'd all been treated to a break in the incessant coverage of Lady Gaga for quite a spell -- a spell which was broken wide open two weeks ago when the 27 year-old was papped on the streets of her native NYC wearing what amounted to little more than her skivvies (oh, and some "statement" boots).

Guess what little monsters? Stefani G. is baaaaack and she's going to be right up in our collective faces for the foreseeable future. "Why?" you ask. Because with her new record, ARTPOP, set to drop on August 19, she has some mega promoting to do and, if anyone knows how to drum up attention, it's Lady G. (All due deference to Madonna, of course.)

Today, it's her "oh my lawd" shoot for V Magazine that has tongues wagging and/or gagging. A photo from the risque series was posted on photographer Vinoodh Matadi's Instagram and has precipitated precisely the desired effect -- Gaga mania is upon us once again folks.

In the "artsy" shot, as you can see at right, the singer leaves little to the imagination, posing in nothing except a hint of makeup. On the plus side, the hours she's been clocking on the elliptical appear to have done wonders to sculpt her once rather Pillsbury-esque physique into a lean, mean, ready-to-promote-my-new-CD machine.
