• Did Jennifer Aniston -- a woman whose hair we watch with baited breath -- chop it all off? Well, kind of. Aniston confessed that after a Brazilian hair treatment gone bad, she cut a fair amount off. "It's about 2-inches above my shoulders now," she said. But a woman after our own heart, she totally wants to change it again. "The minute I cut my hair I want it back. Always. It's a guarantee. I'm trying really hard to love this one," she said. Yup, we so relate. [Elle UK]

• Fashionistas, your new leader's been named: Nicolas Ghesquiêre is in at Louis Vuitton, replacing dearly departed Marc Jacobs. Ghesquiêre had been at Balenciaga for 15 years, but left the company in 2012, after complaining that he felt burned out by Balenciaga's parent company Kerig. "I am so happy. It is an excitement. A feeling that what I lived before was preparing me to do this," he said of his new job. Aw! [New York Times]

• Blake Lively is a magical elf, who is married to the Sexiest Man Alive. She also believes that she got her incredible body by eating chocolate. "I do nothing! I'm lucky to have a very active lifestyle, I'm always running around everywhere... So I don't need to hire a coach or watch what I eat," she said. And also! "I can't start my day off without a mug of hot chocolate or finishing off the day with a few squares of dark chocolate... It keeps me feeling happy." So that's what we've been doing wrong. [Jezebel]

• Miss USA Erin Brady officially has our undying love and devotion for showing up to the Miss Universe pageant dressed as a transformer. She wore the costume as part of the Miss Universe preliminary events -- each contestant is asked to show off their "National Costume" and Miss USA went for an Optimus Prime-inspired look. "Nothing screams national costume like the first Miss USA transformer. Embracing powerful women in a transforming country that's made up of so much. That's what Miss USA means to me," wrote 26-year-old Brady. [Fashionista]

• Would you try Splashlights -- the ombre in the middle look? It's pretty intense, no? Whatever you do, do not do it yourself, says Splashlights creator Aura Friedman. "Splashlights is a graphic look. It is more conceptual and will appeal and work on a more daring crowd." Duly noted. [Shine]
