How Jennifer Aniston Made Her Body Stripper-Worthy for a New Movie
The actress reveals her "We're the Millers" diet and workout regime
That's why it's kind of funny that there's all this coverage now about how she got into awesome shape to play a stripper in her new movie, "We're the Millers." It's not like she's ever reverted to her pre-"Friends" plumpness in the first place, but the actress, 44, says that whipping her bod into peak pole readiness was no walk in the park.
Talking to Access Hollywood, Justin Theroux's fiancee says that she was on a strict diet while filming the flick -- especially since it includes a scene in which she wears nothing but a bra and thong.
"I was on a very like, you know, greens and vegetables and lean proteins and kale," she says, adding that she never, ever strayed from the strict regime. "When I really wanted to have a cheat day I had to have a kale chip."
In addition to such extravagant indulgences, Aniston worked out three times a week with Yogalosophy founder Mandy Ingber. "[Yogalosophy] pairs a traditional yoga pose with a toner, so it's like a yoga workout," Ingber told the Daily News. "I incorporate cardio as well as other modalities, daily playlists, recipes, journal questions."
Aniston has since become a Yogalosophy convert, "It's a positive message of loving your body into shape instead of beating yourself up," she's said.
