Fiona Apple Loses It At Louis Vuitton

The "Criminal" singer let's loose at an unruly, rude crowd.

Pro tip: If you're going to see Fiona Apple in concert, do not talk through her set, because she will find you, and call you out on it. That's just what she did to a roomful of fashionistas last week after they wouldn't keep quiet while she was playing.

Apple was the entertainment at a part in Tokyo last Thursday to toast "Timeless Muses," the brand's tribute to six of its favorite muses: Catherine Deneuve, Kate Moss, Sofia Coppola, novelist Françoise Sagan, architect Charlotte Perriand and 19th-century French Empress consort Eugénie de Montijo. Moss and Deneuve were in attendance, as was Nigo, Poppy Delevingne, Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis, and Rinko Kikuchi.

When the crowd wouldn't quiet down during her performance, the singer/songwriter turned to the audience and challenged them to be quiet. The chatter persisted, and then she let loose. "Shut the fuck up," she told the fashion-heavy crowd from the stage, calling the crowd "rude." She then stormed off the stage, but not before shouting "Predictable! Predictable fashion, what the fuck?"

A Louis Vuitton spokesperson declined to comment, but safe to say, she probably won't be spotted in the front row of the fashion house's shows anytime soon. [Source]
